Bad blogger...

I have been a bad blogger.

BUT...I have good reason.

I was looking forward to last week because for once I finally didn't have 20dr appointment in 1 week. Well that really didnt work out the way I thought it would.

Colby was sick all last week. So instead of me having a ton of appointment...we had lots of Colby appointments.

Here is our rundown of the week:

3 Dr office visits

1 chest xray

1 er visit

1 iv

2 flu /rsv tests

3 Rx for meds

and 1 blood draw....

Colby had RSV. ***Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a contagious viral disease that can lead to serious health problems—especially for young children***

Thankfully Colby is on the mend, but now mommy is sick. (because I need that on top of everything else going on in our life)

So hopefully things will go better this week .

Today I have an appt with Dr. G . We should do a sono to check Mason's cord to see how it is functioning. Also I see Dr. Evans on Fri for ANOTHER amnio reduction (#3 so far). Hopefully these appointment go well... because Im not ready to deliver Mason yet.

Here is a verse that was emailed to us the other day.... Thank you again for your prayers...

“For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth;
And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.
The sound of weeping or crying will be heard in it no more.

Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days”

Isaiah 65: 17, 19-20

  1. I found your blog linked in someone's blog and I have been reading it for the past two days. I don't think I've cried this much in a long time. Your strength and trust in God is incredible and I pray that your sweet little Mason will be the miracle that you and your family deserve. God bless you and I look forward to reading about your journey.

Isaiah 41:10- Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Also, I hope little Colby and his mommy get well soon.

  3. I know how you feel about all of the dr appointments! I was seeing peri twice a week and my OB once a week. Add in a special needs child and it was like dr visits were a full time job! Sending good wishes your way for a good umbilical artery number! (have you noticed they fluctuate? Morgan's did, which I thought was odd, that some days she'd have good flow & other's she wouldn't)

  4. I, like eah42, also came across you blog through a friend of mine. My heart bleeds for you. I can't even imagine what you must be going through. God has given you incredible strength in such a hard time. Just remember you are never alone. God has promised that He WILL cause ALL things to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Stand strong, dear friend. God will never give you more than you can handle. For every door He closes, He will open a window of escape. Cling to Him and He will take care of your heart, mind, and soul... and most importantly He will take care of your sweet babies. I will continually pray for you every time the Lord places you in my thoughts.

Hang tough! Nothing can happen to you without being sifted through God's fingers of love first. (Job 1)

May you have a blessed day! =)

  5. I've been following your story here, found you on The Bump, and despite the illness you've had, I was SO relieved to see this post.

When a week had gone by with no update, I worried that the worst had happened.

Hoping for the best for you and your family!
