Mason is doing great!
He is out of the isolet, no more IV, and is taking 1/2 a bottle at a time (before he gets to tired).
He is gaining weight and just needs to finish his bottles to get to go home !

I am just BLOWN away by what a miracle he is! It's SO amazing! So glad he'll be going home soon, he is SO dang adorable!

ReplyDeleteFantastic! We found that Charlie did better if we used bottles with no more than 2 ounces (60 ml) in them. We used Volufeed bottles, if they have Medela pump sets you can also use the collection bottles to feed the baby. Our Lactation Consultant thought it may be because there was less weight behind the nipple, but we never did figure out why, just that the bottle worked better and he was able to eat more, faster. He also did better and ate faster with a slow flow nipple, which seemed counter intuitive.
